i have had a ms.dll error

well all i know is that an error occured on my hard drive after turning off my computer and now it doesnt read from the hard drive it reads from the ms-ram drive and i am having a terrible time getting it started any one that can help would greatly be appreciated.

The only way you can have a ramdrive is to have the Emergency Boot disk in the floppy or to have copied the config.sys , autoexec.bat and some files to the root of the hard drive. Ed Fair

well then i guess my hard drive has dissappeared from the system it doesnt read from it and when i try to fdisk the hard drive it said that it was "unable to access drive 1" i dunno what to do i am wondering if my hard drive went out on me or is there is a cause software wise if anyone can help i would be very appreciative.
