I have Found a very useful tool for MySql. It is a graphical frontend to allow you to connect to your database(s) add a database, create tables, add data, import scripts, import with odbc and on and on. It also will import access 2k databases, I know I did it with one of mine.
Since I am New to MySql this tool was very intuitive to use and extremely Usefull you can acheive everything with this tool that you can at the shell(MySql>). I would think further testing with it. But for anyone looking for a graphical interface it is free from ZDnet. Follow this URL

I have downloaded and am beginning to experiment with the front end you suggested. Thanks alot.

You mentioned that you imported an Access 2K database into MySql using this tool. Can you walk me through those steps. It seems like something we will want to do here at work.

Thanks in advance

No Steps really on the tool bar select im/export then select Access File the locate your .mdb file. The only thing I do suggest is to make a back up copy of your .mdb file and use the copy or the origanbial to import. before the import compare the data type of MySql to MS Access ond if you need to chane and format ythem do them in access. I hade to reformat the date in VB for MySql and it took a few tries for me to get the code right. So just double check datatypes and make sure they are going to match, it will make things a lot easier.

Good Luck
