I have been having problems connecting to my ISP, it appears my DialUp Network file keeps corrupting.
When the problem happens I have to reboot my modem, then uninstall and reinstall Dialup Network, then reboot the computer, I can then connect.
The computer usually runs for about a week, sometimes only a few days before giving problems. I have eliminated the modem, as I have borrowed a friends, the friend has mine and it is working OK on his system.
At first I believed it was my ISP who had the problem, they changed me to another ISP they had purchased and the problem started happening when I used that Dial Up Connection.
I am running Windows ME on a Gigabyte Motherboard, 512MB Memory and Pentium III processor.
I would appreciate any advise anybody may offer to permanently correct this issue, the last resort would be to reinstall Windows ME.
