If I can implement a thing:<br><br>1.the script could read/write the html source which the script is contained.<br><br>2.if the script could output itself on response an event
 
I really don't get exactly what your saying, but you can use event handlers to have scripts run only when certin events occur, such as onFocus, onClick, onMouseover, onMouseout, etc.<br><br>Also, I am not sure is this is what you were asking, but you can write to HTML docuemnts from JavaScript by using<br><br><FONT FACE=monospace><br>docuemnt.write(&quot;Text written to page&quot;)<br>or<br>document.writeln(&quot;Text written to page on new line&quot;)<br></font><br><br>you can use html tags in either of those.<br><br>
