I have an AMD K-6 2 processor, 128 MB RAM, 8.5 MB HD and am running WIN 98 SE. It usually works pretty well and I'm satisfied with it by keeping it defragged and optimized (Norton Utilities) and setting the swap file to a fixed 256 MB.

Howerver, there is an annoying inappropriate accessing of the A: drive when I use Corel WPWIN8 and Quattro Pro8. This doesn't happen with Paradox 8.

I've tried all the remedies I've read about in PC World, and on line help pages but nothing works. Would appreciate some new ideas. Thanks.
