I have a webpage with the lyrics of the oompa loompa song on it. What I would like to do is have my webpage start playing the oompa loompa song when you open the webpage as well as have a ball bounce over all the letters so that you can follow the song. I also would like the letters to light up when the ball hits them. Can someone please help me with the HTML code..I think i have found a part of the code for the music to start palying, but I can't find the html code so that the ball bounces in sync with the words. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

To do this, you're going to have to know (in miliseconds) the time from the beginning of the song to the word that is being highlighted for every word you want to highlight. Then you can use javascript. Store the times in an array and make a function using a timeout which is the number in the array. If you need help with some of the code, post back.

Yes I would love some help. I talked to a friend and he suggested something called flash. I have never heard of it. Now I am a very basic webdesigner and any and all help would welcome..thanks.

Macromedia Flash is an animation program made for the web. You can do almost anything you can think of with it. Check it out... you'd be able to do what you're asking very easily with a minimal learning curve. Darrell Mozingo

This is one fo the things that Flash would be better than DHTML for.
