I have a user who loosing her mapped drives connection

I have a user who loosing her mapped drives connection after some time. I checked the net cable, and network card check box that turns it off when not in use. I can do ipconfig renew command to get ips, I can brows internet, but I can’t get access to mapped drives until I restart.

Any ideas?

if you check properties of the mapped drive will it reconnect?

could be a dns/wins issue - are the drives mapped by name or ip ?

if mapped by name then try using ip and see if they remain connected

By name, but this is only happens to one person.

cool - then try by ip to see if that fixes and then you know it is an issue with name resolution
