I am a begginer ACCESS user, and have a report that is truncating a memo field. I have looked at the Can grow/can shrink fields but can't eliminate the truncation. I would like the entire memo field to be veiwable on the report.

Any help out there?

Is the entire memo field displayed in the datasheet view of the report's record source?

If the query is doing the truncating then you probably have phrases in your SQL like "DISTINCT" or "GROUP BY".

Thank you. The query is truncating the memo feld. How do I address that? I am aksing the query to perform a count for me so the total button has been enabled.

You can't return more than 255 characters from a field that is in the Group By clause. You might be able to change the field from Group By to First.
