Star Talk Mini Hard drives are very special. They are designed in particular to work in conjunction with firmware. In the hard drive are imbedded codes that will not copy. So a direct replacement part won't work. Sometimes you can find Nortel replacements. Not often anymore. For the time/cost factor and reliability you should go straight to a used or new Flash.
