I have a report of dollar sales for products over time.
I need to display this in a graphical form.
I should be able to take a sales value from the user and for this value draw a straight line on my graph so that the user gets an idea as to which products have how much sales above or below this entered value.
I tried using sales values as Y1 axis and products as category axis.By using the Numeric axis grids and scales manual settings for min and max value of Y1 axis, this can be done, but in a static form.
How to integrate a value entered dynamically by the user for this?
Please respond.

you can probably set up a 'dummy' metric to display a constant value in your report. i'm not sure if the metric editor will accept a pure value prompt as it's definition. if so, great. if not, you could try one of the following:

metric = 1 * <Value Prompt>

metric = (<Some Metric> * 0) + (1 * <Value Prompt>)
