hm... in other words.....

can you change file permission when you using webpage file

on php?


I know some associated function ... like exec, system,...

chgrp, chmod...

however I don't know exactly what It's function's usage!

if exist among this.... tell me please....

Normally, no. Your webserver processes usually run as an *UN*privileged user, such as "nobody". So if you run a php script through your webserver, then in order for your php script to be able to change permissions on a file, that file would have to have write permissions for "nobody" or for world. I'm not a sysadmin, but I think this is true for *nix - I'm not sure about Windows.
