I have a little experience in Crystal Reports. I have a sample of a report in a letter and I have to make a report in the which all the fields displayed in it, must have the very exact coordinates of the sample. I could work with the grid but I find it very difficult, and I don't think this is the best way. Can I put the coordinates by a formula or something else?
If anyone could help me I would be very grateful.

For Crystal 8.5, chose [Options] under [File], and you'll be able to switch off the [Snap To Grid] function. Or choose [View] from the top meny to stop showing the grid.

Crystal expects fields to be physically placed on the report. I don't think there's any way round that.

Select the field or object to position and either use the format menu or right click and select "size and position." You can specify coordinates for each object in the dialog box.

You can also embed your fields in a text box, and use tabs to position them. This fixes the format, but makes the report difficult to change or maintain.
