I have a KX-TA624 with TVS50 VM. I'm an Avaya guy, so please excuse my ignorance. Upon arrival to this customer, all calls were answered by AA with 2 choices. Each choice rang one separate extension. Customer wants to eliminate AA and ring all phones on all calls with unanswered calls going to VM. I have managed to turn of AA by removing the 2 VM extensions from Flexible Ringing Assignments (408-410). Now I can't figure out how to get the calls to go to VM. Please advise. Thank you.

put them back in ringing 408 and in 411 set it to delay ring. you can do this for all time services for each co if needed

OK, Thank you. But this causes the AA to Answer after the delay. Is there a way to make it just go to a VM box instead?

This is a problem with the old analogue systems. I would reprogram the AA to play a message and intercept to a mailbox. there are no groups or overflow options on the TDa616 systems and to get it into a mailbox after ringing a number of extensions.

OK... I've got the VM messages going to the right places, and the MWI lights up. However, when the message button is pressed, it now says "not valid" on the screen. I can call the VM ext, press #6, then * plus the ext number to retrieve messages, but not using the message button. HELP?????

Set up a flexible button for the mailbox that the message is being received in to,
The message wait light on the phone will only light for messages left for that extension
