I have a hipath 4000 with optipoint 500 sets. when i make a call out, I don't get any options on my display other than to save number, no transfer, conference, etc. When a call comes into the system I have all the features available to me. Any idea's? I've been working Hipaths for along time and have never seen this.

Are the settings in (or missing from) the COS that might be keeping those things from showing up? I know the mnus frequently change depending on where you are in a call or what kind of call it is, but I have never seen that. I believe there are several restrictive options you can set, like "restrict forwarding", and there are also some classmarks that can affect functionality and what shows up on the display. I might start by looking at classmarks that should be there and are not, or ones that should not be (as that is easier) and then look at COS if nothing is found. Also when you set up your Opti 500s do you have them set to the right device type? I assume that would be obvious because the key layouts would be messed up, but I seem to recall Advance and Advance Plus use the same key layouts. What version is your 4000? You might also do a DIS-FEASU to see what features are activeated or deactivated on the system to see if anything relevant is missing. Hopefully some of the rambling helps!

Cannot tell for sure but you also may check in ZAND:OPTISET the param:
MAMESCRL=YES - Act/deact system option 'Mainmenu by scrollkey'
SRVCALL=YES - Act/deact system option 'No service mode during voice call'

Check the Phone setup
DIS-SBCSU;
You should see DIGNODIS=NO
If DIGNODIS=YES then change it to NO
CHA-SBCSU:STNO=XXXX,DIGNODIS=NO;
