I have a faxfinder ff200 but do not remember the login and password I tried admin/admin. Does any0ne have a backdoor password to get in or can Multitech get in?

If you forget IP address or password of FaxFinder, use an AltiServ ( analog station?) extension to dial the extension port
connecting to FaxFinder. After FaxFinder answers, press the following digits to reset IP or password.
Press “1***” resets IP
Press “2***” resets password

can I do a DID through phone system into a port and hit digits 2*** after hearing fax tone? from any kind of analog phone? Because I tried that and it did not work?

I copied it from the manual but I never used it as I keep track of all my logins etc.

maybe it doesn't work because it is on the V.34 on the Altigen Altiserv system. I have the FF200 on the IP Office system.
