I have a client that came to us and has an old CICS the first generation that has a full cover over it. I need to confirm this type of CICS can take regular co line cards so they can have 8 lines on system ???

That would be the British Telecom version, same hardware but they use different software...and covers!
You probably have NA software in it so good to go.

Look at at SP code in maintenance then compare it in the FAQ's section to see what you have for software version/features.

Yeaaahhhh, if you could just cleanup that wiring and label the BIX, that would be greeeat.

So under this cover its a regular CICS and will take the original cards we use every day ???
