I have a bcm 400 rel 3.7 connected to a bcm 50 via ip trunks. we have a PRI in the 400 and they want to give a DID to someone working out of the bcm 50. I am unable to enter the received digits i need under the target line for the bcm 50 because they are already in as destination codes for the extensions to dial the bcm 50. for example if i have ext 550 working out of the bcm 50 i have to put 550 into the destination code in the 400 to reach the 50 via ip trunk. So it will not allow me to put 550 into a target line received digits. Does anyone have a work around? thanks in advance

what happens if you use 4 digit receive so lets say 550 is also 5500

I have had a similar problem

the solution is to use dummy numbers across the IP trunks

Setup the IP trunk on the 400 to point 1XX to the BCM 50
forward the target line to a DUMMY number say 100
on the BCM put 100 in the received digits on the target line

job done

If its not broke tweak it..
