I have a analog trunkd(B-1)coming from another switch. I made a cot route and trunk to access it by the acod(59)from any phone in the switch. Now I can dial the ACOD and get the dial tone of the other switch and dial thier internal extension numbers but I cannot dial "0" and get thier operator. I can however get thier operator when I clip on to the trunk infront of the trunk card before it goes into the M1. Can anyone tell me why I can't dial the "0" without getting a busy. When I dial the ACOD I'm bypassing the NARS and BARS, right?

What is your CLS ( UNR CTD TLD ) you need to be UNR as the switch see's "0" as trying to dial LD. So if you are CTD or TLD the call will be blocked.

I will check it again but I believe I set it to UNR and DTN
NCOS 7

If your using access code dialing then NCOS doesn't matter
the switch treats the line between the two switch as a COT line, you should change the line to a TIE line and you wont have this problem.

I tried the tie setup and the trunk locked up on me. All I could get was battery. I'd dial the acod and hear battery. Then I'd go to the cable pair, pull it off(whould clear it)or disabled the trk port and that would clear it.
Maybe something on my route or trunk wasn't set right. I don't have much experience in setting cot's and ties. When it was locked up I could hear the trunk relay clicking like crazy. Disabling the port took care of the clicking.

The last time I did this was back in 1985 in Hong Kong and I think I used a LOP Start card with CLS set to (LDR) LOOP Dial repeating.
