1. When i typed 'qbasic graphics' in my toolbar w/ Internet Explorer it opened QBasic and made a new file called Qraphics.bas how can I stop it from doing this.
2. How do I get it to stop displaying Help everytime i do something illegal, it really bugs me because I do not have the help file on this computer and it keeps asking me for its path.

Answer to question number one: Don't search using the IE toolbar. Use Google instead. Just type google.com in your toolbar.

Answer to question number two: Tell me what version of the help file you need and leave me an email address to send it to. zmcgeek@whoever.com

I have the help file on one of my other computers, so i don't need you to send it to me, but even if it is installed it keeps coming up everytime I do something illigal like type "LINE( "leave it and scroll up to check it agains another statement

In QB 4.5 & 7.1 click on OPTIONS and "uncheck/un-dot" SYNTAX CHECKING. That should help you with the Help thing.

As far as the toolbar, what happens is that IE first checks to see if what is requested is on your computer. In this case you have qbasic, so it goes no further and activates it. If you wish to search the web for 'qbasic graphics' I'd suggest that you use a web search engin (ex: google, lycos, yahoo, etc) instead of IE. It's similar to a server, it searches the local system first for the answer; and then it searches outside itself.

Hope this helps,
