I didnt get the exact error messages but even if I only used on program its just saying that low on resources or memory, and after that I cant open anything. I need to restart my machine just get it work again.. is this a RAM issue or a virus???
I think that I have replied to you in the past; if i recall correctly you had the win32.friendsgreet.trojan playing hell with your system, you were desperate for help, and I think I solved it for you.
And no one else replied.
And you didn't award anyone anything as being the most helpful post. There was no one else! You basically took the advice and ran!
Manners cost nothing!
Try someone else Antipodean guy.

- What OS (95, 98, XP)?
- What program/game causes the error to display, or does it even matter?
- How often are you forced to reboot?
- How much RAM do you have?
I'm assuming that since you posted in this forum, you've got either 95 or 98. The problem with both is that they cannot be left on for long periods of time without being rebooted every so often (usually every 1-2 days). NT operating systems are better at that and can usually be left on for weeks at a time.
You can improve your system by checking the following.
1) First, right-click "My Computer" and go to properties. On the "Performance" tab, you'll see the % of resources that are free on your system. This percentage should always be above 50% and easily over 80% after a reboot. This percentage continues to drop as you use your system. Unfortunately for you, rebooting is the only way to get them back.
2) However, you can slow the process down. Try and minimize the amount of apps running in the background.
a) check your startup folder under Start->Programs for items that you don't need and delete them.
b) right-click the small icons next to your clock and enter their settings/properties.
Look for the option to disable them from startup.
c) type msconfig under Start->Run and hit enter. Go to the startup tab to disable anything else. Only disable the ones you recognize and don't need.
This should give you a start...

I got Windows 98 SE, 128 RAM and when this happened all of the program will not start even the display properties when you rigth click on the desktop...ill try that as soon as possible..
Thanks a lot Cdoggs
Yeah, you might not have programs open, but there are processes constantly running in the background eating at your resources. One way to see how many there are is to hit CTRL-ALT-DEL just once which brings up the "Close Program" dialog box. The number of processes you see should be less than 15 at bootup (less than 10 preferably). Any more than that, and you might want to be sure to try the "msconfig" suggestion.
Post back and let us know what you find...
