i get parser error message when running the program

This is the error message I get when i try to run my asp program. What do you suggest? is the problem server related? what should i edit on the IIS then? thanks a lot guys! im soooo lost

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a
section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application
level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS."

right click your default website or sub folder you need the virtual folder in, click New, Virtual directory, name it, and point the virtual to the correct folder
