I get a 550 error in Microsoft Fron

I get a 550 error in Microsoft Frontpage when trying to upload my website to the web.
The 550 error is a message from the server stating that the account I have currently logged in as does not have permission to perform the action.
I'm uploading files to the httpdocs folder...
How do I set the permissions on the httpdocs folder?
In the past, all I had to do was go under the file menu --choose Publish Web and supply my username and password. I would then choose the httpdocs folder and it would publish.
Now when I do those steps it begins to FTP and then comes back with a permission denied 550 error.
I re-installed my Office software--no help.
Do I need to call my host? Or is there something I am overlooking? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you sure that the host has installed the FrontPage server extensions correctly? It sounds like they have not.

Perhaps have them reinstalled and try again.

It sounds like you've lost privilidges to a key folder.

I called my host and they tried a few things on their end..telling me that because I FTPed a large number of files at once and their server got overloaded and locked me out..they deleted all files I FTPed and had me re-submit my site. Now i noticed that some of my graphic images do not appear...and the fun continues
