I don't know a name for a tech of DB2 2

I heard db2 can have a thing let you have tons verture connections at the same time and the real connections are pooled and at a small amount.

It's kind of server side connection pool technique but it's on the database server.

I don't know the name of it, so I can not even do a search.

Can some one please let me know what it is named?
