I have downloaded this program called: Starry Night Backyard. I would like to know if there is a way to place a program on your site that people may be able to open and use it as if it was on their hard drive.

Pretty much I want to feature on my site that they may enjoy it as they visit the site.

Is there a way?

Hi,
What type of program is it? An .exe? If so, you can use Tegosoft's web software to convert it to ActiveX. They have a demo you can download at

http://www.tegosoft.com.

Be forewarned, it only works in IE that I know of. At least I can't get it to work in NN.

What I am wanting to do is place this program on my website that the visitors could click on it and use it, hosted on my site.

I am not saying that I want it to be on my site as a download for them, but rather, useable, on my site, like programs that are used on people's site such as flash games and so on.

Is this possible?

I'm pretty sure whatever you decide, you will have to use a "plugin" or some sort of download. Sorry. The Tegosoft product works well for me and is a small download. You could write your application in Java.

I have downloaded a program that I would like to work online. I wanted to find out if people could access via my website.
