I CREATED A DATABASE INWHICH I COULD ACCESS INFORMATION IN DIFFERENT COLUMNS.THESE COLUMNS CONSIST OF SPORTING EVENTS/BOXING MATCHES.WHEN I PUT THE NAME MAX IN ONE OF THE COLUMNS TO GENERATE A FILE I KEEP GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHICH INFORMS ME THAT I AM INSERTING AN INVALID EXPRESSION BUT GIVES ME NO OTHER INFORMATION.WHAT IS THE PROBLEM

Tony,

I think Paradox is interpreting Max as a Paradox Keyword, rather than a name. I am not sure of the correct syntax but I think you have to surround the name with inverted commas.
