I could not see the suppressed field in design view

I am trying to modify the existing report. But I could not see the supressed field in the design view . how to see? Is there any setting.

First of all. if you see a field in preview mode then it should be in the design mode in the same section as the preview mode.

If you cannot find a field,

Go to
File ---> Export ----> export report ---->Report Definition

this gives the exact location of the field.

How did you know it was suppressed if you can't see it?

thank you so much for the quick reply. I found the ans ...my setting was hiding the hidden sections.Now i Checked the option to show the hidden sections.
