I can't see linux on windows98
I can do ping:
ping 10.10.10.1

OK!!!

I can do ping to computers and from computers to Linux,
but if I use:
SMBCLIENT -L \\COMPUTERX

I receive the message:
Connection to COMPUTERX failed

... If I use:
SMBCLIENT -L 10.10.10.1

... I receive the message:
Added interface ip = (...)
session request to 10.10.10.1 failed
session request to *SMBSERVER failed

... and
smbd is running
nmdb is running

What's happening here? I forgot something?

Thanks.

Are you trying to map a drive in Windoze to the linux box or are you trying to access the windoze machines from linux?

I can help you with the first but haven't done the other yet.
