I cant print any pdf's at all :-(

Hey guys I am having a weird printing problem that is driving me crazy...I am NOT able to print any PDF's at all...this is only happening on 2 computers...(Windows 7 64 bit), other computer with Windows 7 64 bit can print fine to the same printer...when i try to print nothing happens, no error messages, no progress bard..nothing, it just doesn't print.. I have tried printing from other pdf readers such as fox it and the problem still happens...i have tried using different printer drivers too...i uninstalled and reinstalled adobe acrobat and same problem...i tried using adobe reader and same problem..i tried printing to different printers and same problem..ugh .i just cant print pdf's no matter what application i use....i am able however to print any other type of file (word, excel etc)...any suggestions please????? Adobe is up to date and I have version 8

Are you trying to print the same PDF on all these different setups ? it's possible to 'Print Inhibit' a PDF - that may have been done on the PDF's you're working with. Try a PDF from a different source and see if you can print it.

Thanks Fred, I actually tried using the PS driver and that worked.

I hadn't thought of that possibility, that the PDF's were created with Postscript output. That deserves to go in a FAQ! We do have both Windows and PS drivers on some of our networked MFD's here, I wondered why - now I know!

Yeah that problem was driving me nuts! But glad i was able to find the solution, thanks for your help
