I can't ping some servers in the same subnet but not all of them. My NICs teamed and when I checked the properties on one of the nics- it was sending but not receiving. First I suspected that server is on the different VLAN but we checked with our networking people - its on the same VLAN with other servers. Please help!

Although the NICs are teamed, are you sure that both NICs are indeed connected to the switch and on the same subnet. I would try "un-teaming" the NICs and see if you can ping the IP addresses individually

Are your switch connections configured for FEC (Fast EtherChannel)? The switch ports need to be configured for FEC to allow the teaming to operate properly.

If they are, is your subnet mask correct? What OS are you using?

I am usinng W2K. According to our network group the troubled server is on the same subnet with rest of our servers.
Is it possible that nic is failed because when I checked traffic it was sending 20000 but receiving 0.
Subnet mask is the same for all servers.
