I can't join my nt workstation to a win2k domain

I'm trying to join a nt workstation to a win2k domain. It keeps giving the error 'domain controller not found' How can I connect?

Can you ping the DC? Is your workstation pointing to your internal dns server?

Have you any messages in the event viewer which could explian your problem in more detail. Could be a multitude of things.
