I can't join a domain; network id button is disabled.
Anybody knows how to enable it?

Please let me know

No it isn't XP media center 2005 machine.

It was a win98 then upgraded to winxp pro. That's when the network id got disabled.

FYI...

It was the "Client for MS networking". Even though it was there, it was the version for win98, I assume.
