If I want to install SQL Server Agent for Arcserve2000, on the second screen I get a configuration screen, without any SQL Server Instance. Its not possible to add an Instance, because the Instance name is not a valid name. I don't know, what I should do, to add an valid Instance Name. The Instance called SP1. I've W2K and SQL Server7.0 with Servicepack3. In the registry stands HKLM/Sofware/CA... on SQL Version 7.

This will occur if SQL 2000 was once stored on the machine. SQL 2000 does not uninstall cleanly. A registry key probably exists on your machine, somewhere around
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \MSSQLserver with a sub key or value that has a value of 80 or 8.0. I deleted the key on my machine when this happened and got around the issue. However: PLEASE CHECK WITH MICROSOFT before doing anything like that on your machine as I do not know how it will affect anything on your server.
