I can't get two layers to start together when published

I have 2 layers. One is a movie that has been imported as a progressive download. The second is a flash layer with words that come on at different points in the movie below. When I publish this I want to have a button to start both layers at the same time. Right now, if I click the "play" button on the movie layer (the one that is progressively downloading) it works fine, but if I do nothing (when the page loads) the second "word" layer will play without the movie. Thoughts?

You have to wait for the (portion of) video to be loaded before start playing.

In other words, put a stop(); action on the first frame of yourmovie, and start the main timeline playing through a cue point at the beginning of the video.
