While trying to access my web site for the first time. I get the message, "Folder isn't accessible. The folder may be located in an unavailable location, password protected, or a file name contains a /or\." Hosting site has reinstalled FP extensions, Microsoft suggested lowering Security settings and all firewalls are disabled. Still no luck. Can anyone suggest a fix? Thanks CDO4

Have you
A) uploaded the site
B) To the correct directory (on an apache server this is the htdocs folder)
C) Got an index.htm, index.html home page?

These are the basic reasons why websites wont display

The way web design should be

Ten bucks says you are on an Apache server.

Twenty bucks says you have the root folder permissions set wrong.

Chmod your root folder to 0777 and see if that fixes it. (If you have password files and the like, though since you are on a shared server, make sure they are not 0777, (really shouldnt have any files at 0777 on shared, just folders - another nice things about having your own, you just set it em all to 0777 and never have any issues)
