Does anyone know what apcupsd in services manager on the bcm400 4.0, stand for or what it does ? When I look in the security and maintenance manual there is no description but it is a service that can be stopped or started.

apc brand ups daemon? apcupsd

maybe if you have the ups hooked up the USB port, it will shutoff gracefully when power is lost.
