I can't do dial-up connection trough an analogue extension.
I have 1 digital trunk (2Mbps) for DID, connected at md110.
For telephone calling it work good.
If I try to connecting to the Internet, using dial-up trough an analogue extensions, the connection is establish, but after 2-3 min the connection is cut and I don't now why.
Help.

This sounds like a sync problem.

Check the ALLOP table, are there any 274 alarms for Digital Trunk, clock malfunction (slip)?

Check the SCEXP; depending on your system setup and the amount of LIMs, you should have at least have a first choice Master LIM sych source. Check it's description under the 'Status' field. It should be sitting at SYNC RECEIVING.
Any other clock sources such as Second Choice in the Master LIM, or First Choice in the Sparemaster LIM, should be sitting at an OK state.

If the First Choice source is not sitting at OK, but is displaying FAULTY or NOT PRESENT, you have a major problem, so post back here with the details! :eek:)

PS If it *is* a sync problem, then you may also be able to hear slight crackles and jitters on voice calls as well.

In ALLOP I have the alarm 274, Digital Trunk, clock malfunction.
The answer for SCEXP is:
SCEXP;
EXTERNAL SYNC RECEIVING LINES DATA
NO DATA AVAILIBLE

What is the next step?

Ok you have no external clock source, so the MD110 is effectively 'running free'.

You need to setup a synchronisation source.

Do you know the board postion (LIM-MAG-SLOT) of your E1 card?

If so, just do the following command, I've used 1-0-00 as an example:

SCEXI:FEML=001-0-00-00;

It will say EXECUTED.

Wait about one minute for the clocking to take place, then do a SCEXP;

If you try and do the SCEXP too soon it will say EXECUTION INHIBITED.

Hope this helps.

Hello TBLuk,
I did exactly what you said.
Now I reveive sync, and after that I verified the dial-up, it's a stabile connection.
Thank you again.
