I Can't display memo type

i have a report, one column is memo type when i try to display that column shows me only the first letter!!, if i change the type to text (254) don't display all data (don'd show 254 characters)only 100+- , why?, please help me i'm just on time.

I use:
Cristal 7.0
Visual Basic 6.0
Rpt object
Access 2000
