I can't continue my installation of Office!

While I was installing Office, I also created a user profile in the control panel. When it rebooted, I noticed it didn't finish loading Office. When I try running the Office CD, I get the following message...

"Microsoft Office 2000 setup requires that you complete setup while logged in as the same user you first ran setup on."

This is the same user; she simply has a profile now. Is there a registry hack or .ini file that can be changed so it thinks Office (Disc 2 only) hasn't been installed so I can attempt to reinstall it. <><

Doesn't NT or Win2K or WinXP automatically create a profile for a person as soon as they logon to a system? As such, I don't understand the need to create a new profile. If you created a profile during the installation, then the system thinks that the profile that you logged on with and the profile that you created are two different ones.

If this is not the case, could you please provide more info? I would be interested in knowing at which point did you create the new profile.

Thanks.
