I am building a Win2000 Server. I have Set Windows 2000 Server up and have setup my domain as darwen.brookhouse. I have got a second machine configured the IP address to talk to the new server and set it up on darwen.brookhouse. Now I can see any folder I create on the server from the other machine but if I go into Computer Management and try to connect to another machine it says cannot find //pc-0043.darwen.brookhouse.

Did you set up DNS. Can you ping pc-0043.darwen.brookhouse?

You can also try to connect using the Netbios name, i.e \\pc-0043.
