I have a Windows 2000 server set up as a PDC and and it is running Exchange Active Directory. In the hard drive I have created a folder for each of the 25 users of the company. The problems is that me as an administrator should be able to access all folders but for some reason (defenately poor configuration) I can only access my own.
Does anybody have any idea what I should do in the "Active Directory Users and Computers" console to solve the problem?
Pls help

Instead of looking in "Active Directory Users and Computers", you'll have to add permissions for administrator to access these folders, and maybe take ownership first.

Adding Permission: Righ-click the folder in question, and go to properties. On the security tab, click Add, and add whatever administrative group (Administrators, Domain Admins, whatever) that you want to be able to access it and click apply. If permissions do not propagate down, click the advanced tab, check "Reset permissions on all child objects and enable propagation of inheritable permissions". Click OK, and OK again, and you'll be able to get in.

Taking Ownership: Right-click the folder in question, and go to properties. On the security tab, click Advanced. Then go to the owner tab, and replace ownership as Administrators. Make sure you check the "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects" box. Then refer to permissions instructions above.
