I cannot restore from brick level backup

I cannot restore from brick level backup

It prompts me for login for exchange server. I use the same account as my backup account.
using the format domainname\user and still no good.
the arcserv account has domain admin, adminstrator and backup operator membership.

the error is \\servername\admin$ ec=logon failure..

I verify I can get to \\servername\admin$ using my backup user account. i even test net use and able to connect.

how come the permission is different from backup to restore..Any other CA F.Up. Anyone can help.....
Is this a ESM permission problem. how do i can it. i was told not to touch the m drive.

How are you trying to restore the Brick Level?
If you are going via the NT Agent, I recommend you try expanding the Network - Server - Exchange and then trying to restore that way with the same details as previous

put exchange agent in debug mode and see the erros it shows.
you find the proecudure in exchnage agent manual on the CD under the folder doc.
