I cannot ping my Med-Pro board!
We are attempting to install IP telsets (4612) in a Lucent/AVAYA DEFINITY G3r9.5 MCC connected to a CISCO server.
The voice terminals have all button attributes, all display functions, & station lights; however
there is no dial tone & no voice in or out transmission.
I have rplcd the backplane wire harness assmly's w/ the twisted pair type on the Med-Pro board & the C-Lan board.
I am using the appropriate standard adapter connection on the backplane amphenol connectors & have cat5 connectivity
to my Cisco.
I can ping my C-Lan board but not my Med-Pro board. I get a fail code '1005'.
I have rolled the circuit packs & removed/reinstalled all IP related programming.
I replaced my Med-Pro TN2302AP VIN HW20 FW077 board on suspicion
I am using a TN799C CLAN board
When I status the voice terminal it says 'in-service/on-hook'
HELP!!??!!
