I tried going into cfg file and changing uws# to "0" and rebooted,no good has always worked in past but nfg now. any ideas?
thx
I have a client who has locked all 3 SuperUsers in his Micros e7 V3.3 POS
Configurator Disabled on all 3 users
Quote:
Navigated to C:\Program Files\MICROS\e7\Cfg
Open e7Config.txt. You should see this line:
<add key="UwsObjectNumber" value="0" />
MY VALUE WAS "0" DON'T KNOW IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING
Change it to:
<add key="UwsObjectNumber" value="6" />
Save the file an relaunch e7. You're going to get a lot of errors and warnings; ignore them, and just keep clicking ok.
Noted the 'Press 'C' to access Configurator on the e7 Splash - 'Loading Database' screen - Tried that as well
Doing this process on BOH Server and Workstation yields a Popup to LOGIN [numeric keypad]
Which numeric ID should we input?
Tried the locked users IDs with no access - booted std login screen not Configurator
Any help is welco
