I cannot figure out why my site is not showing up in Google,

I cannot figure out why my site is not showing up in Google, since i've never had a problem with any other sites before. I have submitted to Google. I did have robot.txt disallow file there last month while testing, but it is no longer there and I have since resubmitted. Google indexed the site again last week.

Am I doing something wrong?

How long has it been since you removed the 'disallow'? Google moves at its own pace.

at least two weeks. Sorry about the double post -- after I sent the post I realized it probably was the wrong forum.

Actually neither of these is the ideal forum. You might get better answers in forum828 Search Engine Optimization.

In any case, I'd give it another couple of weeks before I got too excited.

It can take months to start getting indexed.
A site I recently built took 70+ days to be properly crawled and indexed, and Google already knew about that one.
