I am at my wit's end. I hope sopmeone has an idea. This server has been running problem-free for the past 3 years and suddenly no one can connect to it - from the LAN or Internet. It is a simple Win 2003 Standard Server, set up as a DC, with about 20 users that connect both from the local office LAN and from remote offices via the Iternet. It was working great until I got a phone call Sunday evening saying that some of the employees had reproted that they could not connect from home. The message is "Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame Server. The Citrix MetaFrame Server you have selected is not accepting connections." We are running MetaFrame XPs 1.0. Licenses are present, services are running, TSCal's are in place and we can connect just fine using RDP. The Event Viewer is not showing any ICA-related errors. I tried to launch an ICA client from an RDP session on the server and I get the same message. Does anyone have any ideas?

Once in a while, we have this problem and it's because a file corrupts on the client end.

In the registry, go to: hklm/sw/ms/MSLicense/Store

If you find a file there (like LICENSE0000), delete it, reboot. The file will rebuild after the restart and you should be good to go for connections.

Thanks for the response. I have seen this before and have done just what you recommended to fix it. However, this fixes problems on the client and my problem is on the server since it affects all inbound connections. After speaking with Citrix support (they weren't a lot of help since they no longer support MF XP) they pointed me to a couple of articles, CTX-127867 and CTX-115152. The first worked until I rebooted. The second was the fixer. I deleted the ICA listener and then re-created it. Way too simple for all of the pain the problem caused. I hope that this might help someone else from going through all of this. Thanks again.
