I can´t ping www 1

I´m using Windows XP PRO, I can ping all ip number from Internet, but I Can´t ping any url.
Ex. I can ping 200.xxx.xxx.xxx but I can´t ping

http://www.xxx.com.

I put my dns server in network configuration.
does anynoe can help me?

Hi, does the IP is resolved when you ping a host name?

Many firewalls disable the "echo reply" protocol.

Do a search on your local hard drive for hosts. If you have it, you want to open both your hosts and lmhosts files in Notepad. Look for any incorrect entries.

It's definitely a DNS issue, so whatever changes on your DNS server that you recently made you might want to undo or take a second look at.

when I try to access ALL sites on Internet explorer , I am receiving the following message:
" The page can´t be showed " .
but I repeat, I can ping the number ip address in the prompt command not the URL.

1. what entries did you find after opening your hosts file?
2. what entries are in your dns suffixes field in networking properties/tcpip properties/advanced?

In my DNS in networking properties I have 200.176.2.10, and I don´t have any host file and lmhost.

try this DNS: 202.129.109.197

Found your DNS IP in the no.registration section, it's maybe blocked.

Hi again, try winsock fix:

This should fix your winsock stack. This is common problem after removing some spyware/malware.
