I/C stock items

Hello,

I'm using Accpac 5.5.
In I/C a miscellaneous item "Freight" has been set up which gets added as the freight component of any PO.
When this item was set up it was ticked as a stock item which is obviously wrong.
I'd now like to uncheck the stock item option again.
I've adjusted the qty on hand to zero but still have -36 as qty on P/O.
I can not uncheck the stock item option as long as there are location information for this item.
Is there any other option besides making this item inactive alltogether and start with a new one?

Save yourself headaches and create a new item and make the current one inactive. Anything else could lead to data integrity issues and IC day end bombing out - do you really want that?
