Hello,
We run on I/C 5.5 and I'm trying to make use of I/C periodic processing > process adjustment. It allows me to set total costs to zero for items with zero quantity.
This all works quite well however I'd like it to chose the correct adjustment GL account automatically.
Under I/C Account Set I've set the adjustment write-off account to our Realised Exchange Gain/Loss account.
We have several locations for different countries set up in I/C and the location is also reflected in the account code, e.g we have location 30 and the GL account for realised exchange gain/loss would be 30-xxxx.
And this is where the problem is. I have several lines in the adjustemnt batch which show location 30 but the GL account is something like 20-xxxx. Or I have location 20 and the GL account is 10-xxxx.
Some lines are correct though.
Under I/C locations I've set the 'Overwrite GL Account option' to overwrite the location segment.
Sometimes it seems to work but most of the times it doesn't.
Is there another setting somewhere I'm missing?
