Hey All...

Have a newly installed CICS 3x16 and have been having a funny issue with an analog device hooked up to port 117.

Using ringing services (Day and Night - auto set), and all the digital extensions are working properly with the ringing services.

My analog device on 117 seems to have a mind of its own. No matter which mode the system is in, that line will always ring.

I made sure that it had no lines set to Apper&Ring at that extension, and I double checked the Ringing Service to make sure that the extension is not included in the night ring schedule.

Is it possible that I am missing a setting that I am not thinking of, or is this just the way the CICS does things?

Thanks!

Forgot to mention that I checked that as well...

No answer DNs on the system.

You wrote: "I made sure that it had no lines set to Apper&Ring at that extension" what extension did you check?

I changed the default extensions when I installed the system.

I actually found out what the problem was. When I was testing the system after the install, I had my main extension forward to 117 on busy, which was the extension I was calling from when I was testing the night service.

Took off the forwarding, and it seems like everything is working now.
