I applied +24/+10V (230V using 110V transformer) to a Seagate 250GB Barracuda 7200.9 drive (in an Ultra external case) and fried the capacitors of the drive controller board. The data is intact, the motor will crank and run using a newer controller board, but I must have an identical controller board to read and retrieve the data. Is there anyone who knows where I may obtain a controller board with Firmware 3.AAE for this drive? The drive is manufactured in China (Site Code: WU) I have been searching the web since July without luck.
Thanks

Have you tried calling Seagate? Other than that eBay is all I can think of...

There is also a "Want it Now" feature on eBay that might help.
